handl Group acquires leading provider of expert witness and rehabilitation services

We are delighted to welcome Tessa Gough & Associates to our growing portfolio following successful completion of the acquisition.

Established in 1987, Tessa Gough & Associates specialises in expert witness reports, rehabilitation and care management services to the personal injury sector. With nearly 35 years’ experience and an unparalleled national network of associates, the business is a specialist in high value claims and catastrophic injury work.

Tessa Gough, the founder, who is also a Registered Nurse (RN) and a highly experienced Expert Witness, will remain with the organisation continuing her developmental work and will continue to take on expert witness cases, whilst the existing management team will deliver a ‘business as usual’ operational service.

The move solidifies our strengthened position as a powerhouse of Expert Witness and rehabilitation, broadening our footprint of experts, in particular bringing strong nursing experience to the panels. This follows last year’s acquisition of Harrison Associates, a leading Expert Witness and Case Management company, Foresight Clinical Services in 2018 and ACCA, a nationwide provider of Social Work Expert Witnesses, last year, and continues the ongoing acquisition strategy to broaden medical evidence and treatment propositions.

Harnessing handl Group’s leadership and expertise in operational transformation and the management of supply chains, the intention is to enable the management team to achieve further growth and strengthen the associate network.
