In February, we outlined the next phase in the development of our growth strategy for handl Group. We’re moving to a new divisional structure, with new divisional MDs and teams in place to support our brands and create new opportunities for success.

Last month we introduced our first division – Expert Witness and Assessment Services. Now it’s the turn of our second new division: Health and Wellbeing. Bringing together 12 of our well-established brands, each with its own specific area of expertise, the division will grow and develop a range of health and wellbeing services for existing and new groups of customers.

What does the Health and Wellbeing division do?

Health and wellbeing covers a wide range of services, markets and customers, with a focus on providing support to a host of different customers and stakeholders.

Using our connections, skills and expertise to:

  • Support the legal sector with secure, specialist medical treatment for people in challenging environments
  • Offer businesses scalable and reliable MSK physiotherapy and mental health support
  • Provide innovative new app-based rehabilitation and health management tools for use in private healthcare
  • And much, much more…

…our health and wellbeing brands have earned a reputation for excellence.

Who’s leading the Health and Wellbeing division?

Margaret McNab is heading up the Health and Wellbeing division. Margaret has recently joined handl Group, and brings a wealth of experience from across the world of healthcare,  including rehabilitation, armed forces medical provision, population health management,  lifestyle improvement programmes and provision of hospital and home based care delivery. Having worked for Maximus, United Health Group, Capita, BUPA and the NHS, Margaret knows what it takes to grow businesses in the health and wellbeing sector.

With her expertise in strategy,  delivering healthcare services,  data management and experience managing large scale public sector contracts, Margaret is looking to “successfully bring together the capabilities  of the whole division while protecting the unique skills and services offered by the individual brands.”

The brands and service groups  will be headed up by their own leadership teams, with autonomy to develop and grow their businesses as part of a stronger division.
