1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that FL360 Limited (trading as Handl Group) (“the Company”) has taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within its business or supply chains.

The Company is committed to acting ethically, with integrity, and to implementing effective systems and controls to prevent modern slavery. This statement applies to all employees, officers, consultants, contractors, casual workers and agency workers (‘workers’). This statement does not form part of any employee’s contract of employment and it may be amended at any time. The company may also vary this policy, including any time limits, as appropriate in any case. All workers must ensure that this statement is read, understood and complied with.

2. Organisation Structure, Business and Supply Chains

Handl Group is a UK-based organisation providing services within the claims, legal support, and associated professional services sectors.

The Company operates primarily within the United Kingdom and engages with a network of suppliers and partners, including:

– Professional service providers

– Medical and expert service providers

– IT and business support services

While the Company considers the overall risk of modern slavery within its direct operations to be low, it recognises that risks may arise within its wider supply chain. The Company has a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and expects the same level of commitment in respect of the Company’s values and ethics from any and all organisations within its wider supply chain. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company will not willingly or knowingly conduct business with any organisation that is in any way involved in slavery or human trafficking. This is shown by:

  • Due diligence on suppliers is completed before allowing them onto our panel
  • Signed contract confirming they will adhere to laws, statutes, regulations and codes, including but not limited to the Bribery Act 2010, Equality Act 2010 and Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • Publishing this statement on our website
  • Signing up to the ‘Stronger Together’ initiative tackling modern slavery in supply chains

3. Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery

The Company maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.

This commitment is supported by internal policies and procedures, including:

  • Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
  • Whistleblowing Policy
  • Equality and Diversity Policy
  • Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

These policies are designed to ensure ethical conduct across all areas of the business.

4. Due Diligence Processes

The Company undertakes due diligence on suppliers and partners before engagement and on an ongoing basis where appropriate.

This includes:

  • Supplier onboarding checks
  • Contractual requirements to comply with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • Expectations that suppliers operate with integrity and uphold ethical standards

The Company will not knowingly engage with organisations involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

5. Risk Assessment and Management

The Company assesses the risk of modern slavery within its operations and supply chains as part of its wider governance and compliance framework.

  • Risk is managed through:
  • Supplier selection and onboarding controls
  • Contractual safeguards
  • Ongoing supplier relationship management

Where risks are identified, appropriate action will be taken, including review, escalation, or termination of supplier relationships where necessary.

6. Effectiveness and Monitoring

The Company monitors the effectiveness of its approach to modern slavery through:

  • Ongoing review of supplier relationships
  • Internal policy reviews
  • No reported incidents of modern slavery within the reporting period

The Company remains committed to continuous improvement in this area.

7. Training and Awareness

To ensure a high level of awareness of modern slavery risks:

  • Relevant policies are made available to all employees
  • Employees are required to confirm understanding of key policies
  • The Company promotes awareness through internal communications and initiatives, including engagement with external programmes such as Stronger Together
