Chief Executive Officer
With a wealth of experience at board level across IT and operational corporates, Graham joined Speed Medical in 2005 as Managing Director, leading the business to become the UK’s largest independent medical reporting and rehabilitation provider. The visionary behind handl group’s growth strategy, Graham has led the group through the acquisitions of MLA, Corporé, The Treatment Network, Foresight Clinical Services and Harrison Associates, among others. Graham continues to lead the transformation of its unparalleled portfolio of brands and the diversification of handl.
Chief Commercial Officer
A graduate with First Class Hons at Kings College London, Chris began his career in marketing at Tate and Lyle working in the UK and internationally. Senior roles followed with the RAC including Head of Corporate Marketing, before becoming Marketing Director at Carter & Carter and Chief Operating and Marketing Officer at CCC International. After a period in private equity finance, Chris joined Helphire Group plc in 2012 as Managing Director of their insurance business and subsequently became Group Sales Director. Most recently, Chris has worked as Commercial Director at Tier One MedCo medical reporting agency, Speed Medical, and Managing Director of MLA where he focussed on strategic acquisitions and developing strategic partnerships. Chris’ experience and network will be key to accelerating the development of handl and its portfolio brands.
Chief Financial Officer
Hailing from Leeds, Ian studied at the University of Manchester and graduated as an economist before completing his accountancy training with Ernst and Young, progressing to Senior Audit Manager. Before becoming Managing Director at Direct Accident Management Ltd, Ian was a partner at Liverpool based accountancy practice Westmore Brennand. In 2012, he joined Springfield Healthcare Group Ltd as Finance Director, where he led the business through several acquisitions and a major construction initiative.
Group Strategy Development Manager
Backed by a wealth of experience in commercial and operational roles, Dilara brings with her the vital knowledge and skills needed to help handl Group’s portfolio thrive. Her previous work experience involved handling multi-million dollar key accounts and establishing core processes across businesses. Dilara is proud of every organisation in the handl Group portfolio. She values handl Group’s ever-evolving desire to be better and achieve greater and is continually inspired to see how her colleagues across the portfolio deliver the best possible service to their customers. Innovation and ambition is clear in the handl Group’s plans, and Dilara looks forward to making these plans a reality. Under the handl Group umbrella, Dilara sees a growing team of enthusiastic and determined people and believes that when talented people come together incredible things happen.
Mergers, Acquisitions and Investments
Daniel’s career path to the role of Mergers, Acquisitions and Investments at handl Group was clear. At just 24-years-old, he was hired in his first number one finance role and completed his ACCA qualification. In 2016, he was the Finance Director for a mid-market engineering business, before becoming the Chief Financial Executive at a mid-market industrial business and bringing him into the venture capital and private equity sector. Daniel joined the handl Group in 2019 and enjoys working with a team of people who all share the same goal, believing handl Group’s investment model allows businesses and their leaders to truly thrive. Working with the Senior Management team, Daniel brings new businesses into the handl Group to join the journey and expand an already impressive portfolio.
Head of Marketing & PR
Niki joined the group as Head of Marketing in January 2017, bringing over 20 years’ PR and marketing experience to the team. Resolutely passionate about everything marketing, Niki thrives on collaboration and puts a real emphasis on team work. Describing her approach as a fusion of three disciplines to create an omni-channel strategy (incorporating brand, marketing and digital strategies), Niki combines creative solutions with business acumen – and a smattering of gut-feeling – to create standout brand touchpoints. A self-confessed Grecophile, Niki lived for nearly 7 years on the beautiful island of Cyprus and ran her own publicity and marketing agency. Niki has a young son, Ayrton, named after her Grandad’s F1 hero, and two Cypriot rescue dogs, Mixalis and Daphne.
Harrison Associates, part of the handl Group, has become the first ever UK company to be recognised by the world renowned independent accreditor, CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for both its Case Management and Expert Witness services.
On Thursday 20th June, we welcomed Phio, EQL’s Physiotherapist chatbot, to the real world at their launch party at Google Campus in London. Attended by press and industry leaders in the healthcare and insurance markets, Phio forms part of a developing portfolio of products designed to radically improve global healthcare systems.
